Need Help.
Hey Guys, i am having trouble installing an driver to make my in build Microphone work. everything i install, Windows seems to overwrite with a stupid Driver that does not work. is there anyone that can help me ?

the OS I'm using is Vista Home Premium.

i actually want help, not people saying " Vista Fails" or "lol , Vista' because yes i do know it fails.

vista fails

are you using onboard or a soundcard. also reinstall mobo drivers. sometimes that may be problem.

Find out the driver that it is installing delete the driver from the system's memory and it can no longer install the driver :P

i did this last night, but it kept downloading the driver from M$ ... this morning i tried installing it once more and it worked perfectly..... the only thing that doesn't work is my FN + ^ and Fn + down arrow command for the volume.

anyway thanks for your help guys.

did you install ALL drivers? did your mic go bad, test your mic in the speech shiz, make sure any parts didnt go bad, umm im out of ideas. oh buy a new pc, that can also help if you got money
