there was recently an announcement of a vps that was
purchased. Not that it needs alot of space but would you
consider an intern0t wargame series or Challenges in the form
of a game. It would be a great way for people to learn in
a controlled environment and would also i think bring in a bunch
of new members if it was done properly.

Also i made a note earlier about the video's section that you have
on the site somewhere i personally can't even remember the link to
get to it but i know there on here somewhere. I think that there should
be a better promotion on the site to these services that you offer
so that people know that they are there. it has its own subdomain or
something kind of like the forum.intern0t but other than that i dunno.

thats it for now till i can think of something else.

We've thought of implementing wargames, crackers and such features. But right now, we're in no condition to do it.
I just got done with school and have 20 days break but I'm going on a vacation after New Year's most likely and won't be back till school starts again.
MaXe is busy with exams and education as well.

If anyone else would want to code those challenges I'd be happy to accept. :P
Till then, idea's on hold.

As for the promoting subdomains thing... well, you're free to advertise anything wherever you want, I've linked some of MaXe's guides around.
But keep in mind that we don't want to rage anyone.
I don't approve of spamming links or defacing in order to advertise.

We're mainly whitehat focused, after all. ;)

I agree with DSky, and yes we have thought of making such a challenge with the VPS.

The only problems are that we simply need the time to do it, which none of us un-
fortunately has right now. However it should be possible to do in the next year where
we will try to become even better and provide more content, more features and such.

I hope this was adequate to what you had in mind. :)

well thats reasonable as far as the links go im not saying we
need to promote them around the web im saying there needs
to be a better method of promoting them on this site lol. Like
most sites have a link box or something with all the links so that
people can surf the whole site similar to whats at the top but with
everything haha

also as the site grows a link checker would be cool one that just takes the thread
with garbage links and trashes it somewhere i had my old site set up like that and
it worked very well

As for the subdomains, yes i can code a drop down menu to show that :)

A linkchecker mod isn't hard to get, however it shouldn't be too ressource demanding ;)

If you want a link checker bot this is the same one i was
using on my board not intensive to the system all you gotta
do is configure it properly which isn't hard at all. You can
just set it to run once a week once a month however much
you want.

Nice, however it has to be compatible with our forums as well :)

Secondly all mods has to be secure hehe (and i don't have time to check
everything in the source), anyways thanks for the name of the mod ;)

PS: If you keep up with the good work i'm sure you'll get VIP this year :P
