If not and someone has purchased it but is just too lazy to share with the rest of us, feel free to PM me for my address, i'll gladly scan the whole book and share what that great book has to offer. I scan things all the time and it's quite easy with Abby Finereader, it's pretty much automated except for the flipping the pages part.

its a good read

i've mostly just gone through the included DVD so far but the cert offered at heorot.net seems pretty simple, cus if you can follow the OSSTMM you pass no matter if you break into the test systems or not

big part for me realising was the bit where he said basically if you follow the OSSTMM percisely but can't break into the system then you still pass, but the reason you didn't get in was because of a lack of experience with the target system etc

this is basically a guide to the course, about the whole methodology the course is based around

setting up your own pentest lab basically do what every you want to it, installing firewalls, loading supposidly security configurations using the DVD live disks, even webgoat firewall and configs then breaking into it all

and pretty much the management side of a pentest

3.5 stars i give this book

the OSSTMM basically is the cert

i don't mind sharing the DVD courses if people want, but i'm not too keen of scanning in like 500 pages
