C/C++ Recommended Book List

I think that the best way to start learning a language is to take the time to read a book. Books will give a wider spread of information than a tutorial will, so I started this list. Post the books you would recommend for both C and C++ and I will edit this post with them. Sticky please? :)

Re: C/C++ Recommended Book List

Two books which every serious C++ developer should read are:
  1. C++ Coding Standards: 101 Rules, Guidelines, and Best Practices
    Modern C++ Design: Generic Programming and Design Patterns Applied
